Support Needed for Rotary's Dictionary Project
The Rotary Club of West Anne Arundel County needs more than $3,000 to distribute a dictionary to every third-grader in the area.

The Rotary Club of West Anne Arundel County is once again looking to give a new dictionary to every third-grader in the area and is seeking the public's help.
Sponsors are needed to support the cost of the Dictionary Project, a lynchpin of the Rotary International's efforts to promote literacy.
At $2 per book, the cost of this year's Dictionary Project comes to $3,024, Rotary officials said.
A sponsorship of the project costs $100, with fees due by Nov. 15.
This is the 10th year that the Rotary Club of West Arundel County has taken part in the Dictionary Project. It has handed out more than 12,000 dictionaries to local students over the years.
Checks can be made to The Rotary Club of West County and sent to the West County Rotary/ Dictionary Project, 1113 Odenton Rd., Odenton, MD 21113.
Contributors are asked to write Dictionary Project in the memo of the check.
