1. The Weather: This week will see most sunny conditions until Wednesday, when some cloudiness will set in, according to the National Weather Service. The cloudiness will continue through Thursday, with showers expected Thursday night. Friday will bring more showers before clearing in time for the weekend.

Monday will be sunny, with a high near 62 degrees. Monday night will be partly cloudy, with a low of 43.

2. From history.com's This Day in History: "On this day in 1965, construction is completed on the Gateway Arch, a spectacular 630-foot-high parabola of stainless steel marking the Jefferson National Expansion Memorial on the waterfront of St. Louis, Missouri."

Also on this day, Grover Cleveland dedicated Statue of Liberty (1886) and actor Julia Roberts was born (1967).

3. The Overlea-Fullerton Recreation Council will hold cheerleading registration at 6:30 p.m. today at the Fullerton Community Center, 7209 Belair Road.

4. Visit the Open Nature Cabin program at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Holt Park and Center for the Arts for all things Halloween—spider webs, bug searches and Halloween stories.

5. Party like it's 2013 at the Overlea-Fullerton Senior Center's Halloween party at 1 p.m. Thursday.
