We have a full preschool program serving children ages two through five years old. We use creative curriculum which is a theme based, teacher created curriculum. We have a music teacher who comes once a week and we take several field trips a year. Our 2’s and 3’s Program In our 2’s and 3’s room we focus on helping children master self-care tasks such as toilet-training and using cups and forks as well as building social skills. We also lay the foundation for future academic learning with the basics such as the alphabet, colors, and basic math skills such as patterns and counting. Our 4’s and 5’s Program Our 4’s and 5’s program focuses on Kindergarten readiness. We cover all developmental areas including literacy, math concepts, science, social skills, music, and art all couched within a fun and interactive theme such as “Animals” or “The Beach.” Learning activities related to each of those topics are done throughout the week. Before and After School Care We provide before and after school care for children who attend Pine Grove or Harford Hills Elementary. We are open when schools are closed. We do a variety of indoor and outdoor activities such as: ○ Table games ○ Crafts ○ Legos ○ Outdoor play We also offer homework help, a morning and afternoon snack. Children are picked up and dropped off from the center by the BCPS bus system. Summer Camp We offer a school age summer camp for Kindergarten—5th graders. Police have arrested two Bel Air residents and charged them with burglary following an incident at Glen Meadows Retirement Center. Ronnie Darnelle Gamble, 46, and Marcia Renee Soulsman, 50, both of the unit block of Carolina Court in Bel Air, were arrested and charged with second- and fourth-degree burglary, theft of less than $1,000, and malicious destruction of property. Gamble was released from the Baltimore County Detention Center on Feb. 28 in lieu of $15,000 bond, according to online court records. Soulsman was released on her own recognizance on Feb. 27.  Police say that around 9:30 p.m. Feb. 25, Soulsman drove Gamble to a vacant home at the Glen Meadows Retirement Community, 11639 Glen Arm Road. Once there, Gamble pried open a rear kitchen door using a screwdriver and stole copper pipe and a water pressure tank from the basement, according to a police report.  Soulsman then picked Gamble up in a 2010 Toyota Prius and the couple left the scene, the report states.
