Today in Parkville-Overlea: Angelina's Replaced, Unexpected Heat Relief, TotSwap Consignment

All you need to know on Friday, July 26, 2013

It's Friday, July 26. Here's all you need to know.

Weather: Thursday was just amazing. This Accuweather forecast shows a high of 83 and a low of 66 degrees today. That should be a great start to the weekend, but Saturday could be rainy - there's a chance of thunderstorms.

What You're Saying: The Baltimore County Department of Aging is hiring a Volunteer Maryland Coordinator. If you're organized, tech savvy and like working with seniors it might be a job for you.

Got something you want to say? Something you want to sell? Post it on our boards or leave a comment on a story! Who knows? Maybe we'll feature it in one of these round-ups.

What's Happening? Totswap, a huge kid's stuff consignment show, starts today at the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium. The event runs from 9 a.m.-7 p.m. and continues through Monday. Want to learn more? Check out the Totswap site.

Trying to get exposure for an event? Post it to our calendar.

What Did You Miss? A new restaurant has opened on Harford Road in the space that used to house Angelina's. Councilman David Marks wrote about the new spot in his blog here.

What Will I Miss? You guys. I'll be on vacation beginning tomorrow, but never fear — the Patch staff here in Baltimore County will take care of you. I'll be back after on Aug. 4, and in the meantime I'll be checking out Montreal, Quebec and the northeastern United States.
