A program is available to get grants and plans for schools to get kids moving.
"Parents, community members, teachers and even kids can get money for their schools through an ChildObesity180 Active School's Acceleration grant to help bring these programs to their schools," according to a news release from Move Active Schools.
Move Active schools is a non-profit organization that has partnered with a program of Michelle Obama's.

"With school budget cuts many schools have had to eliminate PE programs increasing the child obesity epidemic," the release states. "This is a way for schools can get kids moving again despite the cuts. Parents CAN get involved and make a difference."
