
PressBox is rewarding kids who have been academic high-achievers this school year.
Students from Woodlawn High School and Northwest High School are among the 168 throughout the Baltimore-Metro area to each get an $80 gift card through the company'sShoes for Grades program.
The cards are good for Under Armour gear, according to a news release from PressBox.

The students honored "maintained an A average over the school year or raised their grades by one full letter from the fall to the spring," the release states.
Students at Northwestern in Baltimore City were honored at an assembly Wednesday, and Woodlawn students will be honored Thursday.

Also implementing the program are Sports Boosters of Maryland (501 C-3), Under Armour and 92 Q (WERQ / Radio One), it states.
"One school was chosen from each surrounding county," the release states. "The 10th grade class of each school was challenged to raise their grades by a full letter grade over their results from the second semester of their freshman year. Students who were able to accomplish the academic feat were awarded Under Armour Shoes and Gear."
According to the release, participating schools included Homewood Center in Howard County, Joppatowne High School in Harford County, Northwestern High in Baltimore City, Winters Mill High School in Carroll County and Woodlawn High School in Baltimore County. Anne Arundel County Schools declined to participate in the program.
