Another College Student Attacked in Towson
Police believe the same three people are responsible for stabbing a Towson University student late Sunday night.

Baltimore County police are looking for three men who attacked two students on Burke Avenue near Towson University on back-to-back nights.
On Monday night, a 20-year-old Goucher student was talking on his cellphone when he walked into an alley along East Burke Avenue when two robbers got out of a car and forced him to the ground, according to a news release from police.
Although the student did not see a knife, one of the robbers threatened to stab him if he didn’t cooperate. The robbers took cash from the student’s wallet, got in the vehicle and drove east on Burke Avenue.

Police said they believe the three robbers are responsible for the stabbing and possible robbery of a Towson University student on Sunday night at Burke and Centre avenues.
That student was found suffering from multiple stab wounds and was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries, according to police.

Police Chief Jim Johnson said he intends to step up police presence in the Towson precinct in response to the crimes. Residents are also urged to stay off their cellphones, especially if they’re walking by themselves after dark.
