Discuss Seniors' Independence: 'Exercising Choice and Control'
The Baltimore County Department of Aging will hold presentations at senior centers in Pikesville and Reisterstown about choices people make as they age.
To enhance the quality of life as people age, it's important that older people exercise choice and control.
That's the message that the Baltimore County Department of Aging and the Mental Health Association of Maryland will deliver this summer through presentations at senior centers, according to a news release from the department.
"The Choices We Make as We Age" will be presented in July by Susan Parks at the following senior centers nearby, the release states:

- Tuesday, July 16 at 1 p.m., Pikesville Senior Center, 1301 Reisterstown Rd. 410-887-1245
- Wednesday, July 24 at 12:45 a.m., Reisterstown Senior Center, 12035 Reisterstown Rd. 410-887-1143
Please register by calling the senior center that is holding the presentation you'd like to attend, it states.
More presentations in July will also be held at the Mt. Carmel, Arbutus, Lansdowne and Seven Oaks senior centers. Visit the Department of Aging website for details on those presentations, and for more scheduled throughout the county in August and September.
