Dunbar Assistant Principal Shelton Stanley Found Shot, Killed Inside Pikesville Home
"We don't believe this was a random act," a spokesperson for the Baltimore County Police Department said.
PIKESVILLE, MD — Officers found Shelton Justin Stanley, 36, dead inside his home in the 4800 block of Hawksbury Road on Sunday evening after family members called for a welfare check.
Stanley’s body had traumatic injuries, police said. An autopsy conducted on Monday ruled his death a homicide due to multiple gunshot wounds.
“Our information was that the person had contact with family members on Saturday and was supposed to have contact on Sunday,” Jennifer Peach, of the Baltimore County Police Department, said. “But on Sunday, they were not able to get ahold of that person.”
