Kids' Fall Pumpkin Run at Wellwood International Elementary School

Wellwood International Elementary School students will race during the annual Fall Pumpkin Run on Oct. 27 at the school

Children in kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades' event will begin at 12:40 p.m..

And children in 3rd, 4th and 5th grades will begin at 1:40 p.m.

Prizes will be given to the top three boys and girls in each grade; one pumpkin sticker for a mystery runner in each race, and a pumpkin sticker and pencil to all participants, according to an event flier.

"Children should wear sneakers and comfortable running clothes that are weather appropriate. They will not be allowed to run in sandals, crocs or shoes with open heels," the announcement states.
