Kidnapping Reported in Pikesville
The following information was provided by the Baltimore County Police Department's Pikesville precinct. Charges do not indicate convictions.
A man reported Tuesday that he had been kidnapped from Pikesville, and dropped off at I-695.
From 8:45 a.m. to 9 a.m., a man threatened him with a handgun and took him and his vehicle from the 800 block of Reisterstown Road, near Sun Fresh Produce, according to a report by Baltimore County police.
The suspect is described as a 7-foot man who is black, and between the ages of 30 and 50, the report states.
He wore a black baseball cap, a black and red, long-sleeve shirt, and Jordan sneakers, it states.
"the suspect dropped off the victim on the outer loop of I-695 and the vehicle was later recovered," it states. The vehicle is a 1994 Dodge van.
