Panthers Musicians to Perform with Honors Jazz Band
A Pikesville High School bass player and a drummer have been chosen for an All-County berth.

Bass player Jacob Lapidas and percussionist Stephen Dorris, both of , will showcase their talent as members of the 2012 All-Honors Jazz Band.
Baltimore County Public Schools will hold a free concert at 4:30 p.m. Feb. 4 at the Walters Art Museum, 600 N. Charles St., Baltimore, according to a news release.
The all Honors Jazz Chorus will also perform.

Directing the jazz band of high school musicians from throughout the county will be James McFalls, a faculty member of the Towson University Department of Music.
McFalls had a three-year run with Chuck Brown, who is often referred to as Washington DCβs βGodfather of Go-Go.β

McFalls has also had appearances with the Baltimore Symphony Pops Orchestra, the critically acclaimed Great American Music Ensemble, and the Kennedy Center Orchestra, according to the Towson University website.
