Patching at Starbucks
I'm at Starbucks, 1809 Reisterstown Rd., until about 6 p.m. I'm warming up with some hot chocolate and doing some writing—about my late lunch at the Pikesville restaurant Island Quizine.

Stop by Starbucks and have some hot chocolate with me.
It's the least I can do for someone who wants to stop by and hear about my visit this afternoon to , the new restaurant now open across from .
I'll give you a hint as to what I found there: delicious seafood with a Caribbean flair. It's open and serving delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner—with breakfast and dinner until 11 p.m.

I had the pan-seared swordfish filet with mango coconut sauce. I'll reveal more about the food and the restaurant in my review.
Later this evening I'll head out to Island Quizine's original, Liberty Road location to take photos, and then I'll be in Reisterstown for a meeting of the and Franklin precincts' Explorers.

The Explorers, ages 14-21, are raising money for a trip this summer to a law enforcement conference in Fort Collins, CO, and are selling discount cards toward that effort.
The cards are for businesses in Pikesville, Owings Mills and Reisterstown, and I'll be at their meeting to take photos for a story on that fundraiser.
On another note, a Pikesville Patch reader just stopped by, and said that the was so crowded today that she couldn't get in. Did anyone else have trouble?
Is it time for a new, larger venue?
