Pikesville Crime: Rock, Brick Used in Burglaries

Pikesville

Old Pimlico Road, 6800 block. Between 6-7:30 p.m. Jan. 18. A window was broken, possibly with a piece of wood, and a handgun and pain medication were missing from a house.

Field Road, 9100 block. Between 8:30 a.m. and 7:10 p.m. Jan. 18. A basement door was kicked in, the front door was left open and a brick was left on the bed of a home. Also, a key was broken in a lock. A Gateway computer, three TVs, two DVD players, and a TV with Wii Game system were missing, a resident said.

Purdy Lane, 9000 block. Between 9:30 a.m. and 8 p.m. Jan. 18. A glass door had been pried but not opened, and a window broken, possibly with a rock. A resident said that two televisions, two laptop computers, credit cards and a portable electric heater were missing.

Campfield Road, 4200 block. Between May 2011 and 7:39 a.m. Jan. 18. Copper piping and an air conditioning unit were reported missing from a house.

Rockridge Road, 7500 block. Between Jan. 1-17. A rear door was forced open and copper piping and a water heater were reported missing from a house.
