Pikesville Precinct Crime: Thief Ransacks Every Room in Home; Burglar Steals Purses

A Pikesville resident's home was ransacked and burgled this month.

Between 10:30 a.m. and 8:20 p.m. July 18, in the 100 block of Sherwood Avenue, someone broke into the basement window and ransacked the home and stole cameras, tools and jewelry, according to a report by the Baltimore County Police Department.

Lochearn

Liberty and Essex roads. Between 11 a.m. and 11:17 a.m. July 17. A Baltimore man was at a bus stop on Liberty Road when two black females got out of a car and came over to him. One hit and scratched him on the face. The other stabbed him in the upper chest and right, front shin with scissors. They left, driving the black, four-door older model car with tinted windows southbound on Essex Road. The first suspect is described as a black female, ages 23-24, who is 5-feet-9, and weighs 165 pounds. She wore a white tank top with black spandex Capri pants. The other suspect is 22-24 years old, 5-foot-6, and weights about 130 pounds. she wore a white tank top.

Sunmar Court. 100 block. Between 2 a.m. July 13 and 9 p.m. July 16. Someone rummaged through the apartment and stole clothing, a computer and electronic equipment, and a TV.

Lochearn Drive. 3600 block. Between 9:30 a.m. and 3:36 p.m. July 15. A burglar opened a front door somehow, stole a TV and threw papers inside the residence.

Laurel Drive. 6500 block. Between 2 p.m. July 10 and 5:15 p.m. July 15. A neighbor saw the front door was open at a nearby residence and called police. The front door frame was damaged, drawers inside were ransacked. 

Latham Road. 3600 block. At 1:21 p.m. July 15. A burglar threw a chair through a front window and stole cash. The suspect is described as a black man, age 40-45, who is 6-foot-3 and weighs 190 pounds. He wore an oversized white shirt and tan shorts.

Milford Mill

Liberty Road. 8200. Between 10:53 a.m. and 10:54 a.m. July 13. An armed robber with accomplice "pointed a semi-automatic handgun at the cashier," at the Dash-In store, according to a report. The cashier handed over the cash register drawer. The two ran southbound on Langrehr Road. Both suspects are described as black men ages 17-21, 5-foot-11 and weighing 150 pounds. The suspect with the blue steel gun wore a red jacket, blue pants and a handkerchief or bandana. His shoes were black with white laces and soles. The second suspect wore a black, hooded sweater with a white T-shirt underneath and dark-colored jeans.

Liberty Road. 8300 block. Between 6 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. July 12. A burglar kicked in a side door of an apartment but did not get inside.

Hilmar Road. 3600 block. Between 11:15 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. July 11. A resident of this block was knocked to the ground, from behind, by three black males, one with a handgun. A suspect pointed the handgun against the victim's cheek while the other two stole cash, a cell phone and wallet from him. The suspects ran toward Liberty Road. The three are described as between 16-19 years old, 5-foot-5, and weighing 150 pounds.

Pikesville

Woodbury Road. 6700 block. Between 6:30 p.m. July 20 and 2:14 a.m. July 21. A burglar pried a door, ransacked the bedroom and stole two pieces of jewelry and three purses.

Laurel Drive. 6600 block. Between 8:30 a.m. July 13 and 9:10 p.m. July 18. A burglar forced open the front door of a home and stole electronic equipment.

Carla Road. 7600 block. Between 12:01 a.m. June 7 and 4 p.m. July 7. A burglar stole a lawn trimmer, leaf blower and three extension cords from a shed, according to a July 15 report.

Reisterstown Road. 1700 block. Between 8 a.m. July 1, 2012, and 9 a.m. May 14, 2013. A burglar came into a property and stole scrap metal, reported July 15.

Randallstown

Paige View Court. Unit block. Between 7 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. July 18. A burglar came into a home—without forced entry—and stole a laptop computer from an upstairs bedroom, according to a July 22 report.
