VISIONS FOR VACANCIES: What Happened to 7-Eleven?
The Village Green shopping center appears desolate.
What happened to ?
The windows are papered,Β the large 7-Eleven sign has been removed. And, if I'm not mistaken, the bushes along Reisterstown Road have been taken out, as well.
I've placed a call to KLNB Retail, the company listed on a sign at the site. But until I get a response, maybe Patch readers could add some insight. Do you know when it closed? Do you miss it?

If you're not familiar with Village Green, it's the shopping center north of on Reisterstown Road.
The center used to be the home of the upscale Vassari boutique, at 1638 Reisterstown Rd., which closed in 2010, according to an article in The Baltimore Sun.

The address for the 7-Eleven was 1640 Reisterstown Rd.
Since the entire center is now emptyβI believe there are three storefrontsβwhat kind of businesses would you like to see there?
Do you crave another kosher convenience store? How about another pizza restaurant, frozen yogurt or ice cream shop? Or maybe there's something Pikesville doesn't already have that would work well there? Does Pikesville have enough convenience stores?
