County Fair, Farmer's Market, Houses for Sale

Here are five things to know in Potomac on Thursday, Aug. 8:

1.) Temperatures will be in the upper-80s, with scattered temperatures and a 40 percent chance of rain, according to The Weather Channel.

2.) The 65th Montgomery County Agricultural Fair opens this Friday at 3 p.m. in Gaithersburg. Read more on Patch.

Pick up some fresh produce, baked goods and more at the Potomac Village Farmers Market, held every Thursday, from 2 to 6:30 p.m. (rain or shine), in the parking lot of the Potomac United Methodist Church (9808 S. Glen Rd., Potomac, at the corner of the intersection of Falls Road and Democracy Boulevard).
