Southern Living has this to say about 2Fifty Texas BBQ:

"What makes 2Fifty special is the personal spin that owners Fernando González and Debby Portillo put on the Texas standards. Natives of El Salvador, they moved to Riverdale Park, Maryland, in 2018 and started selling slow-smoked meats at the local farmers market, and two years later they found a permanent location in an old corner grocery. González and his team cook thick-sliced prime and American wagyu brisket, racks of meaty, primly-trimmed St. Louis-style ribs and poblano-laced beef sausages on a 1,000-gallon offset smoker. They’re accompanied by intriguing Central American-inflected sides like charred corn equites finished with red crumbles of taquis fuego and red kidney beans slow-simmered with brisket trimmings."
