Teen Stabbed During Fight in Arnold
Police said the 16-year-old victim was transported to Shock Trauma as a precaution.

A 16-year-old was taken to Shock Trauma after a fight between the teen and an acquaintance led to a stabbing at an Arnold home on Tuesday.
At 8:51 p.m. Tuesday, Anne Arundel County police responded to Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis for a reported stabbing that took place earlier at another location, according to a press release.
The victim told police he was stabbed after he was "involved in an altercation with an acquaintance." The victim said he went to his friend’s house in the 1200 block of Summerwood Court in Arnold. During the fight, a man presented a pocket knife and stabbed the victim twice in his lower back.
The man fled the area on foot after the stabbing, according to police, and was later identified as Dominic Dixon, 23, of the 1200 block of Summerwood Court in Arnold. Dixon was charged with first-degree assault, second-degree assault and assault with a deadly weapon.
The victim was was later transported to Shock Trauma in Baltimore as a precaution, but the injuries were determined not to be life-threatening.
