A local Silver Spring wine and spirits business is giving back to the community through the <a href="http://www.takomafoundation.org/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Takoma Foundation</a> on Monday, Oct. 15. <a href="https://takomapark.patch.com/silverspring.patch.com/listings/fenwick-beer-wine" rel="nofollow">Fenwick Beer and Wine</a>—located at 1327 Fenwick Lane in Silver Spring—is donating 10 percent of its proceeds from Oct. 15 sales to the local nonprofit. Since 1989, the foundation has been a huge supporter in the community giving away almost $300,000 to groups including the Boys &amp; Girls Club, <a href="http://www.historictakoma.org/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Historic Takoma</a>, sports leagues, and various health groups. The Foundation is a fund of the <a href="http://www.thecommunityfoundationmc.org/site/c.jpIQKWOxFoG/b.3570417/k.BE50/Home.htm" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">The Community Foundation for Montgomery County</a> (CFMC) and the <a href="http://www.cfncr.org/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Community Foundation for the National Capital Region </a>(CFCNR).
