Boy Struck By Car In Takoma Park: Police

A 12-year-old boy was struck by a car at the intersection of Philadelphia Avenue and Maple Avenue in Takoma Park, police said.

TAKOMA PARK, MD — A boy was struck by a car in Takoma Park Wednesday evening, police said.

The 12-year-old was walking at the intersection of Philadelphia Avenue and Maple Avenue when he was struck at about 5:40 p.m., police said.

The driver remained on the scene. The boy suffered non-life threatening injuries.
