Juveniles Arrested For Armed Robbery In Takoma Park

Two 15-year-old males were arrested for robbing a group of boys at gunpoint at Westmoreland Park in Takoma Park, police said.

TAKOMA PARK, MD — Two 15-year-old males from Washington, D.C. have been arrested for an armed robbery in Takoma Park, police said.

The incident occurred at the Westmoreland Park on the corner of Carroll Avenue and Westmoreland Avenue at about 10:14 p.m. Nov. 17.

Police said the two suspects approached a group of five other juvenile males and robbed them at gunpoint. The suspects allegedly robbed two of the victims and forced the other three to stay, police said.

Metropolitan Police Department assisted in the investigation and recovered property from one of the suspects, police said.
