Slider Barron Rolls Into Takoma Park

Food trucks have arrived in Takoma Park. Every Friday you can get your foodie fix.

The program, kickstarted by the Old Takoma Business Association, started July 13 with the Go Fish food truck and will run for a three-month trial period.

The first run was such a success that Go Fish sold out of food.

Here is the schedule for future food trucks:

A new food truck wil be visiting the Takoma Junction, in the city parking lot next to the TPSS Co-op, on Fridays from 5:00pm-8:00pm:

• 8/3 Curley's Q BBQ  and Fojol Brothers

• 8/10  Go Fish!

• 8/17 Red Hook Lobster Pound
