Takoma Park Police are on the lookout for burglars in connection with two incidents of theft from an auto that were reported Tuesday. On May 29 a victim came into the Takoma Park Police Department to report a theft from auto that occurred in the 6900 block of Laurel Avenue on May 26. The theft took place some time between 10:45 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., police said. Suspects entered the vehicle and took property, including a very large amount of cash, police said. The same day, police responded to the 7400 block of New Hampshire Ave. around 8:21 a.m. for a report of a theft from auto that had occured between May 28 at 1:30 p.m. and May 29 at 8:21 p.m. The suspects propped the victim's vehicle up on cinder blocks and stole the tires, police said.
