91-Year-Old Man Robbed by 'Landscapers'

The burglars posed as handymen to get inside of the victim's home.

Two men disguised as landscapers stole a safe containing cash, jewelry and documents from a 91-year-old Timonium man, police incident reports show.

One of the burglars approached the elderly man Tuesday at his home in the 100 block of Belmore Road. The suspect offered the man landscaping services while the burglar's partner went inside and stole the safe from the basement, at about 10:30 a.m.

The incident is similar in nature to a deception burglary carried out at the beginning of August when an by two men posing as landscapers.
