Mileone Autogroup COO Scott Fader has been named the American Cancer Society (ACS) Philanthropy Partner of the Year. Fader leads Mileone’s longstanding 22-year partnership with ACS that has raised $4.8 million to help ACS fight cancer.

His father, former MileOne Automotive CEO Jerry Fader who unfortunately lost his battle with cancer in 2011, established the partnership which includes an annual car raffle that raised more than $128K for 2022. MileOne Subaru dealerships also support ACS through Share The Love fundraising. Recently, these funds have provided more than 10,200 free rides to treatment for cancer patients through the ACS Road to Recovery program in areas of Maryland, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. MileOne also has a legacy of supporting Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.

Additionally, MileOne’s contributions to Baltimore Hope Lodge include the donation of two transportation vans that have logged more than 90,000 miles taking guests to and from their cancer treatment, hosting guest dinners, endowing one of the guest rooms, and pledging $260,000 for a guest services welcome suite at the future reimagined, expanded Baltimore Hope Lodge.
