CRIME BLOTTER: Back-to-Back Petty Theft Attempts Thwarted
Four young women target Kohl's for shoplifting.

Kohl's Department Store in Timonium was the target of two attempted thefts over the weekend.
Several female suspects were caught on Friday and Saturday attempting to steal about $800 of Kohl's merchandise in separate incidents. Â
In both cases, the store's security personnel detained the suspects at the store until Baltimore County Police officers arrived.

On Friday, a 23-year-old woman was seen placing about $500 worth of store merchandise into an "Old Navy" bag, according to a police report. The suspect was not arrested.
On Saturday, three female suspects entered the store and split up, according to Kohl's security staff. One suspect was caught leaving the store with a variety of items, including a jacket and several shirts.

The two other suspects were also stopped as they left the store carrying similar items that totaled about $300.
While Baltimore County Police were checking warrants in the security office one suspect darted for the Lutherville Light Rail Stop, which was across the street.
After a short pursuit, police caught the suspect, who had a known criminal record, and transported her to the station to be processed.Â
