The Gift of a Life - Volunteer to Drive Cancer Patients to Treatment

The American Cancer Society Road to Recovery program provides free rides for cancer patients who have no other way to get to treatment.

Transportation is key to cancer care. For those who cannot drive themselves or have no other means of getting to their treatment, American Cancer Society Road To Recovery® volunteers donate their spare time to give cancer patients a much-needed lift. To volunteer, go to: www.cancer.org/drive or call 1-800-227-2345.

Why is this important?

Even the best treatment can’t work if a patient can’t get there. That’s why a successful transportation assistance program can be a tremendous, potentially life-saving asset to your community.
