The St. Paul Group Welcomes, The Honorable Eric M. Bromwell to Our Team

Hunt Valley, MD (September 6, 2017) — The St. Paul Group, a premier provider of data analytics and statistical reporting, today announced that Eric Bromwell has joined the team as our Business Development Manager. The St. Paul Group has been a recognized leader in Maryland’s healthcare industry for nearly 50 years. The business is widely recognized as, “St. Paul” by clients and other industry participants as they have become the source of hospital reimbursement data reporting and analytics.

Eric joins the team with a background in both business development and Maryland’s healthcare industry. As a 15-year legislator and Vice Chairman of the Health and Government Operations Committee in the Maryland House of Delegates, Eric understands the challenges facing our industry, and has made a name for himself by helping create health policy for the State of Maryland.

Eric also brings over six years of business development experience, which will help The St. Paul Group maintain our excellent customer service with current clients, while at the same time helping to grow our business with new, exciting partnerships.

Firm President, John Hartlove and Eric graduated Calvert Hall College High School together in 1994. “Bringing Eric on board not only allows us to build on the existing friendship that we formed at Calvert Hall, but also brings St. Paul a wealth of knowledge of the healthcare delivery system in Maryland. I am extremely pleased to begin this new chapter in our friendship,” said Hartlove.

Starting as a data processing company for a small accounting firm, St. Paul opened on Baltimore’s St. Paul Street in 1970. Since then, the company has developed its own niche for Data Analytics. Moving to Glen Burnie in 1974, St. Paul gained notoriety in Maryland’s healthcare industry as the statistical report provider for the Maryland Health Services Cost Review Commission (HSCRC), and the Department of Health and the Mental Hygiene (DHMH), area consulting firms, and Maryland hospitals. The HSCRC is the Maryland’s hospital rate governing organization.

The St. Paul Group custom designs, develops, and tests case mix data systems and programs. With those programs, the team maintains, processes, edits, and produces hospital billing reports for healthcare Financial Officers, Financial Consultants, the HSCRC, and the DHMH for analysis.
