I return to real estate brokerage as a Realtor® after a 25 year career as a state certified residential real estate appraiser throughout the Baltimore metropolitan area and several surrounding counties. As expected, I possess an in-depth understanding of the many influences that determine market value and I am skilled in my ability to identify a market trend through extensive research and expert analysis to formulate a well-documented market supported conclusion. Additionally, I have a broad background having appraised nearly all property types from urban to rural, new to historic, land trusts, tax sales, estates, foreclosures, short sales, relocation, 2-4 unit dwellings and multi-generational.
My career began with double digit mortgage rates in the mid 1980’s to the longest sustained economic expansion in the nation's history between 1990 and 2000 and more recently, the “housing bubble” where housing prices peaked in 2006 and reached new lows in 2012 and contributed to a near collapse of the U.S. economy beginning in late 2007. With that said, the good news is that the overall real estate market in our region continues on the rise!
We’ve all heard that price is everything and as a seller or buyer I recognize that price is fundamental in helping you to reach your goal. With that said, I am confident sellers and buyers alike will benefit from my vast knowledge and experience in the real estate industry as well as my commitment to excellent service which has been the hallmark of my longstanding career. A challenging market in recent years often relied on the knowledge, experience and dedication of our industry professionals and I am no exception having first been a top producer in brokerage followed by owning and managing a successful real estate appraisal business from 1994 to 2015.

In closing, I return to residential sales with the same enthusiasm and passion I possessed at the start of my career 30 years ago and I am pleased to have the opportunity to affiliate with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Homesale Realty, a locally owned and managed real estate company with a strong presence in the market.
