Maryland State Fair 2018: Musical Lineup Announced
Here's the musical lineup for the Maryland State Fair. Tickets go on sale soon.

TIMONIUM, MD — The Maryland State Fair is still few months out but plans are taking shape, and tickets will go on sale May 11 for this year's concerts. Organizers announced the musical lineup on Thursday, which includes several stars. Country, rock and blues fans will have something to tap their toes about this year.
The musical lineup for 2018 includes country singers Chase Bryant, Chris Lane and Chris Janson; rock band Smashmouth; and the legendary B.B. King's Blues Band featuring Tito Jackson.
This marks the 137th year for the fair in Timonium. The Maryland State Fair will run from Aug. 23 to Sept. 3, 2018. It is located at the state fairgrounds at 2200 York Road in Timonium.

M&T Bank is presenting the musical series, called "Live! ON TRACK at The Maryland State Fair." In addition to the music, there will be rides, festival food, racing, festival foods and more.
Musical Lineup For 2018 Maryland State Fair
Friday, Aug. 24: Chase Bryant and Chris Lane take the stage on Friday, Aug. 24. Guitar-wielding Bryant is known for his Top 10 debut single, “Take It On Back,” which spent 15 consecutive weeks on the CMT Hot 20 Countdown. Lane plucks his banjo for a different sound, with a range of titles including his single "Fix."

Saturday, Aug. 25: Smash Mouth will get fans rocking to their popular tunes. The group is known for its many hits, including "All-Star," "I'm a Believer," "Can't Get Enough of You, Baby," "Walkin' on the Sun" and the Shrek soundtrack.
Saturday, Sept. 1: B.B. King's Blues Band featuring Tito Jackson will team up to keep the musical legacy of B.B. King and the Jackson 5 alive.
Sunday, Sept. 2: Country artist Chris Janson will perform on Sunday, Sept. 2. Janson released his sophomore album and his current single "Drunk Girl" is quickly becoming a hit. His debut album included "Buy Me A Boat," which went platinum.
A limited number of premium tickets, priced at $20 each, will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 11, at www.marylandstatefair.com. Otherwise, tickets will go on sale at 11 a.m. on May 11.
All shows start at 7:30 p.m., and gates will open at 6:30 p.m.
