Police Accepting Unwanted Prescription Drugs

Residents will be able to drop off medicine to police on Oct. 26.

Baltimore County police are giving residents a chance to dispose of unwanted and possibly dangerous prescription drugs.

County police and the Drug Enforcement Agency will be collecting prescription drugs at three drop off locations throughout the county between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Oct. 26, according to a news release.

  • Precinct 2, Woodlawn, 6424 Windsor Mill Road
  • Precinct 7, Cockeysville, 111 Wright Ave.
  • Precinct 12, North Point, 1747 Merritt Blvd.

Residents will no be questions about the drop-off or for identification. Medicines should be kept tightly sealed in original containers and indentifying information should be removed from the prescription label, according to a news release.
