Timonium Company Named Among Fastest-Growing, Women-Owned Businesses

A Timonium business was recently honored as one of the fastest-growing, women-owned businesses in the Baltimore area. 

Symphony Placements, a staffing agency based in the 2300 block of York Road, was ranked second in a list compiled by the Baltimore Business Journal.

The business, owned by Wanda L. Smith-Ritzenthaler, had a percentage growth of 124.72 percent between 2011 and 2012, with an increase in revenue from $1.78 million to $4 million, according to the Baltimore Business Journal.
