2 Killed After Car Crashes Into MTA Bus In Baltimore County
Police said the driver and passenger of a 2017 Nissan Maxima died when the car they were traveling in struck an MTA bus in Baltimore County.
BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Two people died after the car they were traveling in struck an MTA bus Thursday night in Pikesville, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.
Around 11:45 p.m., police said the MTA bus was stopped on Old Court Road near Woodling Way when it was struck by a 2017 Nissan Maxima. At the time of the crash, the Nissan was traveling eastbound.
Police said the driver of the car, 51-year-old Mr. Komonti Wilmer, was pronounced dead at the scene. Mendy Wimbrey, the 48-year-old passenger, was transported to a nearby hospital where she was later died.

Medics transported the bus driver to an area hospital with what appeared to be minor injuries, police said.
The crash remains under investigation by the Baltimore County Police Crash Team.
