A Family Affair Children's Center

We have a full preschool program serving children ages two through five years old. We use creative curriculum which is a theme based, teacher created curriculum. We have a music teacher who comes once a week and we take several field trips a year. Our 2’s and 3’s Program In our 2’s and 3’s room we focus on helping children master self-care tasks such as toilet-training and using cups and forks as well as building social skills. We also lay the foundation for future academic learning with the basics such as the alphabet, colors, and basic math skills such as patterns and counting. Our 4’s and 5’s Program Our 4’s and 5’s program focuses on Kindergarten readiness. We cover all developmental areas including literacy, math concepts, science, social skills, music, and art all couched within a fun and interactive theme such as “Animals” or “The Beach.” Learning activities related to each of those topics are done throughout the week. Before and After School Care We provide before and after school care for children who attend Pine Grove or Harford Hills Elementary. We are open when schools are closed. We do a variety of indoor and outdoor activities such as: ○ Table games ○ Crafts ○ Legos ○ Outdoor play We also offer homework help, a morning and afternoon snack. Children are picked up and dropped off from the center by the BCPS bus system. Summer Camp We offer a school age summer camp for Kindergarten—5th graders. Nearly everything about the  between Loyola Blakefield and Calvert Hall is staying close to home this year. -TV, based in Rodgers Forge, announced Wednesday it will again be broadcasting the Thanksgiving Day high school football game between the Loyola Blakefield Dons and the Calvert Hall Cardinals. Game time at is 10 a.m. Scott Garceau and Tom Matte will be calling the game. The No. 2 Cardinals go into this year's game looking for their third-straight win over the Dons. Last year, the Cards trounced their crosstown rivals, 42-14, at <a href="http://www.baltimoreravens.com/Gameday/MT_Bank_Stadium.aspx" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">M&amp;T Bank Stadium.</a> The game was moved to Towson this year because of a with the Baltimore Ravens' game against the San Francisco 49ers.
