Bag Set on Fire With Dog Inside: Baltimore Police
Dog pronounced dead at scene after firefighters discovered it in the bag. City investigators are looking for suspects involved.

BALTIMORE, MD — Baltimore City Police are asking for the public's help in locating the suspect or suspects who set a bag on fire with a dog inside. The animal was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Responded to a call of a fire at 12:30 a.m. to the 6800 block of Hamlet Avenue, firefighters found the bag on fire.
After extinguishing the fire, they found the dog inside the bag, according to a police release.

Investigators believe an unknown suspect or suspects placed the dog inside the bag and then set it on fire.
Detectives are asking anyone with information to call the Animal Abuse Unit at 410-396-2400. Callers may remain anonymous.
