Baltimore County Woman Wins $50K Playing MD Lottery Game
The woman said a dream inspired her to pick the numbers that later won her $50,000.
BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — A Baltimore County woman is $50,000 richer after she selected the winning numbers in a recent Pick 5 drawing, according to the Maryland Lottery.
The woman, whom officials did not identify, purchased the winning ticket at 7-Eleven at 16956 York Rd. in Hereford on Nov. 16. She played the combination 92327 straight for the following day’s midday and evening drawings.
The numbers proved to be lucky for the midday pick, which ended with her winning the $50,000 prize.

"She kept her cool, not wanting to draw attention to herself," lottery officials said. "She called a close friend to share the great news. Her only plans for winnings are to use a portion to square up her finances."
The woman told lottery officials she selected the winning numbers after seeing the set in her dreams.

The 7-Eleven will collect a $500 bonus as the retailer that sold a winning ticket.
