When are stores opening and where can you look for specials?

After you've finished stuffing yourself with turkey, retailers want you to stuff your cart.

and , both with locations in the Towson Place shopping center, are turning Black Friday into Black Thursday, with the toy giant opening at 9 p.m. Thursday and Walmart starting its sales at 10 p.m. that day, USA Today reports.

Best Buy, Staples and Sears leaked deals this week, The Washington Post reports. Those include a $200 42-inch TV at Best Buy and a $199 BlackBerry PlayBook at Staples.

At select stores nationwide, Best Buy will have a 9 p.m. Thanksgiving screening of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2. Of course, the only Maryland stores screening Harry's last adventure are in Laurel or Wheaton. If you're traveling elsewhere, give the chain's site a look.

Meanwhile, many area retailers will be participating in the Black Friday specials, including , and other shops in downtown Towson, Dulaney Plaza and Towson Town Center. The specials have not yet been finalized, but keep an eye on the chamber's website for coupons or call 410 825-1144 for more information.

Parking in downtown Towson

Be one of the first 500 shoppers in line when the mall opens at 6 a.m. Friday to get a scratch-off for a chance to win a $500 mall gift card, an iPad, a Ravens jersey or another big-ticket prize. The giveaways will continue through the afternoon.
