County Board Seeks Input for Superintendent Search

Loch Raven High School will host one of three community forums to allow county residents to offer comments as part of the search process.

will host a community forum at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 17 as part of the process for selecting a new schools superintendent.  

According to a news release, the open forum is one of three scheduled over the next few weeks as the county looks for a successor for current Superintendent 

The school board has Hazard, Young, Attea & Associates (HYA) to assist in the search as the school board seeks community feedback as to which characteristics they would like to see in a new superintendent, the release continued.

Along with the forum at Loch Raven, residents also can choose to attend similar meetings at 6 p.m. on Jan. 19 at Woodlawn High School or .

County school officials said in the news release that residents can also offer input by completing an online survey at http://www.bcps.org/supsearch.htm by Jan. 27.
