Parent
Tell us why they deserve to be nominated!
My daughter has learning differences due to having been born with Williams Syndrome, a chromosomal deletion (on chromosome 7) that leaves people with varied learning differences and possibly cognitive difficulties. Academics had been a challenge throughout her lifetime but she was always interested in learning and experiencing life!
Transferring to Baltimore Lab School in the 6th grade so that she could get highly individualized well-rounded support made high school graduation an attainable goal and accomplishment. She's been able to know what works and decided she needed a live on campus transition program to ease her into College.
She'll attend George Mason University's Mason Life program in the Fall. They have decades of experience in highly individualized education promoting independence and more.
What's one thing you want everyone to know about your graduating student nominee?
Pascale is excited about the next chapter in her journey because she enjoys the discovery. She's not afraid.
