One Hospitalized After Fire Truck Strikes Vehicle
Emergency vehicles responded after a fire truck struck a car on Osler Drive.

Update (3:33 p.m.): Osler Drive was closed Monday afternoon as police investigated a crash involving a fire truck.
Truck 1, based at the , struck a red Mitsubishi Mirage on Osler Drive, near South Auburn Drive, around 2:27 p.m., police spokeswoman Louise Rogers-Feher said.
One man, the driver, was transported by ambulance to Sinai Hospital. He was conscious when crews extracted him from the car.

Rogers-Feher said both vehicles were traveling south. The fire truck was headed to the scene of a fire in the left lane; the Mirage was in the right lane. The Mirage's driver then attempted to make a U-turn around the fire truck and was struck. Both vehicles veered toward the northbound lanes. The car could be seen on the side of northbound Osler Drive shortly after the accident.
Noone on the fire truck was injured.
