
A top aide to County Executive Kevin Kamenetz has been released from Shock Trauma after a weekend horseback riding accident.
Fred Homan, 58, a Timonium resident, was released Monday night, according to a spokeswoman at the Baltimore trauma center.
Information about Homan's injuries and status have been tough to come by since the accident.

Don Mohler, a county spokesman, said he could not comment on Homan's injuries, citing federal privacy laws.
The last definitive status update came on Sunday when Mohler, in a text message, wrote that Homan was in serious but stable condition.

In a Monday afternoon update, Mohler, who is on vacation, wrote in a text message that Homan was "continuing to show good progress."
