A hotel fire in Baltimore County hospitalized one person this weekend, firefighters said. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

PIKESVILLE, MD — A hotel fire in Baltimore County hospitalized one person this weekend, officials said.

The Baltimore County Fire Department said it was called Saturday at 3:38 p.m. to the DoubleTree by Hilton in Pikesville.

Crews said they found smoke on the third floor and two civilians in need of medical assistance.

Firefighters said they quickly contained the flames to the room of origin, preventing further spread.

One of the injured people was taken to a hospital for treatment, first responders said.
