Man Fatally Shot On Labor Day, 1 Hospitalized: Baltimore County Police

A man was fatally shot on Labor Day in Baltimore County, police said. A second man was hospitalized.

PARKVILLE, MD — A man was fatally shot on Labor Day in Parkville, police said.

A second man was hospitalized, but officers don't know the cause of his injuries. He's expected to survive.

Authorities said they were called to the 8400 block of Leefield Road around 4:20 p.m. Monday.

Police said they found a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the upper body.

Medics took him to a hospital, where officers said he died soon after.

Authorities identified the deceased victim as 43-year-old Romy Bogier of Parkville.

The Baltimore County Police Department asked anybody with information to call 410-307-2020. Callers can stay anonymous. Tipsters can also submit information through the county's iWATCH program at iwatch.baltimorecountymd.gov.

The Metro Crime Stoppers, an independent investigator, is also collecting anonymous tips and sharing them with officers. The Metro Crime Stoppers offered a cash reward of up to $2,000 for information that leads to a conviction on felony charges.
