Minor Violations Found in Ridgeleigh Code Sweep

A code sweep earlier this month found about one violation for every 13 homes.

A code enforement sweep earlier this month in the Ridgeleigh community turned up relatively few violations, the community association president said.

The sweep, conducted by county inspectors two weeks ago, found 81 violations among the roughly 1100 homes, president Bill Deysher said. Most of the violations were for open trash cans, tall grass and debris.

Though the community had no widespread complaints that led to requesting the sweep, Deysher said residents had begun to spot some rodent issues in alleys in the neighborhood east of Loch Raven Boulevard.
