PHOTOS: A Look Inside Santa's Workshop

For a second year, the Towson Chamber of Commerce is bringing the North Pole south to Towson Circle.

There's a place right up the street in Towson where soon, you'll be able to hang out with Frosty, talking reindeer and even Santa Claus himself.

Nancy Hafford, executive director of the Towson Chamber of Commerce, invited Towson Patch to check out Santa's new-and-improved workshop.

Santa's new digs are right next door in the former Country Curtains store on Shealy Avenue, where they've been relocated since the former Storehouse Furniture was. The old Country Curtains still has walls and windows once used to show off curtains, creating an interesting setup for Hafford.

"The kids will go through a whole maze of decorated characters," she said.

About six of those inflated characters are holdovers from last year, but many are new.

The workshop opens after the Baltimore County tree lighting on Dec. 3, and it will be open for several Winterfest events in December. See the attached schedule for details.
