Dynamite In Garage Closed Falls Road: Report
A stretch of Falls Road was closed due to a hazardous materials investigation Tuesday, according to officials.
BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Police activity temporarily closed a 0.1 mile stretch of Falls Road, the Maryland State Highway Administration reported Tuesday morning.
A hazardous materials team was standing by in the 6000 block of Falls Road, where the Baltimore Baltimore Firefighters Union IAFF Local 734 advised some buildings and homes may need to be evacuated due to a "hazardous incident."
A man found a box of dynamite in his garage, WJZ reported.

Falls Road was closed between Lake Avenue and Appleby Avenue, officials said.
Crews investigated at 9:30 a.m. and were clearing the scene before 11 a.m., according to WJZ.
