A Family Affair Children's Center

We have a full preschool program serving children ages two through five years old. We use creative curriculum which is a theme based, teacher created curriculum. We have a music teacher who comes once a week and we take several field trips a year. Our 2’s and 3’s Program In our 2’s and 3’s room we focus on helping children master self-care tasks such as toilet-training and using cups and forks as well as building social skills. We also lay the foundation for future academic learning with the basics such as the alphabet, colors, and basic math skills such as patterns and counting. Our 4’s and 5’s Program Our 4’s and 5’s program focuses on Kindergarten readiness. We cover all developmental areas including literacy, math concepts, science, social skills, music, and art all couched within a fun and interactive theme such as “Animals” or “The Beach.” Learning activities related to each of those topics are done throughout the week. Before and After School Care We provide before and after school care for children who attend Pine Grove or Harford Hills Elementary. We are open when schools are closed. We do a variety of indoor and outdoor activities such as: ○ Table games ○ Crafts ○ Legos ○ Outdoor play We also offer homework help, a morning and afternoon snack. Children are picked up and dropped off from the center by the BCPS bus system. Summer Camp We offer a school age summer camp for Kindergarten—5th graders. Starting Friday, you won't have to drive so far to experience the great outdoors. Robert E. Lee Park hosts its grand reopening on Friday, following  Baltimore County signed a long-term lease with Baltimore City in 2009 for the 415-acre park just north of the city line. The renovations include a new pedestrian bridge from the Falls Road light rail station, erosion controls and a dog park. County Executive Kevin Kamenetz on the park on Friday. As a councilman, Kamenetz once represented the area, and residents there credit him with helping to arrange the lease. include a boat tour of Lake Roland, hiking tours, children's activities and music. If you're bringing Fido, remember that <a href="http://relpnc.org/PawPoint" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">memberships are required</a> to use the dog park. Interested in at the park?
