Stephen L. Miles Announces Return to Baltimore Airwaves
The attorney is best known for his early 1990s television comercials.
Sometimes we get press releases that are stories in themselves.
Stephen L. Miles sent one to Towson Patch and other Baltimore-area media on Thursday, announcing his return to Charm City's airwaves.
"If you can remember back to the days when this town bled Colts blue and white on Sundays; when the O’s were winners; when Jack Luskin was the cheapest guy in town, and when the Gino Giant outsold the Big Mac—then Miles’ image and voice will resonate with you," the release states.

Miles, an attorney who once based his firm in Towson and still has an office here, is perhaps best known for his early 1990s commercials, which aired across the Baltimore area.
The release continues: "It was the ‘70s and barriers of all kinds were still falling in the aftermath of ‘60s social upheaval. Up until this time, a lawyer advertising on television was a no-no. That all changed when Miles launched his history-making TV ad campaigns that blitzed Baltimore airways with his trademark tagline: 'Let’s Talk About It!' "

In 1999, Miles merged his law firm with Saiontz and Kirk, another legal late-night advertising titan. The Baltimore City Paper called it the best horrifying merger. He left them several years ago, stating on his website that he missed the "personal client contact."
His new commercials are noticeably more subdued, however. A booming voice announces his law office "is back." The commercial, posted on the website, features no jingle, just Miles, a former city state's attorney, telling viewers about his experience.
"His office is much more modest now, his hair is a little grayer, but the competitive edge still burns just as brightly," the release states.
The release concludes by referencing Robert Frost: "Not only has he returned to Baltimore’s airways [sic]; it is apparent that Stephen L. Miles has miles to go before he sleeps."
