Towson Arrests: Attempted Shoplifting Turns Violent

York Road and Cross Campus Drive. 10 p.m., Oct. 7. A woman and teen got into a cab on Dulaney Valley Road, bound for Loch Raven Boulevard. The woman reportedly got into an argument with the driver, then she grabbed his hair and punched him. He stopped and the teen allegedly punched the driver through the driver's side window and stole $150 from his jacket pocket, police said. The pair fled. Police later arrested a juvenile and Kristian Symone Kelly, 21, of the 5700 block of Loch Raven Blvd. Both were charged with robbery and second-degree assault

Putty Hill Avenue, 1200 block. 4 p.m., Oct. 6. A loss prevention officer at Marshall's department store noticed four suspicious people and attempted to detain them. Two allegedly displayed knives and one of them told the officer, "Give me my shirt before I kill you," police said. The pair fled in a black Dodge Stratus, while the two others fled on foot. Police later arrested Ashley Ebony Eastman, 21, of the 2900 block of Westwood Ave., and Deon Marquise Roady, 22, of the 900 block of Walker Ave.

Solar Circle, unit block. 5:10 a.m., Oct. 8. Someone used a butter knife to break into a home through a front door. Once inside, the resident woke and the burglar attempted to choke her before he fled, police said. Later that morning, police arrested Brandon Octavis Brown, 25, of the 4000 block of Fleetwood Ave. in Baltimore. He was charged with third-degree burglary and second-degree assault.
